Overview:
Garfield School District is seeking a compassionate and dedicated School Social Worker to support the academic and emotional success of students across grade levels. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with teachers, families, and community partners to provide counseling, crisis intervention, and case management for a diverse population of students.
Responsibilities:

Provide individual and group counseling services for students K12

Address issues such as attendance, behavior, family changes, and emotional regulation

Collaborate with staff to support IEP and 504 plan goals

Partner with local community agencies for wraparound support

Assist with crisis response and de-escalation as needed
Qualifications:

Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Social Worker License or eligibility

Master's degree in Social Work (MSW)

Previous experience in a school or youth services setting preferred
